Calibration Flow

In metrology, the calibration of measuring instruments is a huge priority. It makes a significant contribution to improving quality. Only by matching or adjusting an instrument to a standard can it be guaranteed to be reliable without a flaw.

Besides the investment in a good gauge, it is also worth investing in optimal calibration. Even high-quality developed and manufactured gauges are only accurate when they have been calibrated according to international standards.

Flow meters by Lufft are separately calibrated by trained measurement and calibration technicians in a wind tunnel and tested for exact accuracy. After calibration, and flow measurement of the meter, the customer receives a certified document as proof of accuracy. The test is monitored by Lufft over the entire period of use. While the meter is being tested by Lufft, the customer will be loaned a calibrated measuring device.
