Moskovskie Dorogi - our business partner in Russia - successfully commissioned an automatic de-icing spray system for the 6 lane bridge (length 1,736 m) over the Kama River, a tributary to the Volga, in the City of Perm in October 2008. The system consists of an automatic road weather station with Lufft meteorological sensor technology including 4 IRS21 road sensors, a pump station and 300 de-icing agent spray discs. It is controlled by specially developed software which predicts the formation of ice over very short time periods of 30 minutes.
