Demo of WS503 Weather Sensor at CAISO Stakeholder Symposium

The CAISO stakeholder symposium took place between 18 and 19 October 2017 at the Sacramento Convention Center to discuss the clean energy movement that’s revolutionizing electric systems worldwide. Energy executives, stakeholders, and policy makers gathered to discuss the impacts of the transition and the new business models that will flow from it...

Key speakers at the symposium included Steve Berberich, President of CAISO, Michael Liebreich, Chairman of the Advisory Board at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Rocky Chávez, Assemblyman of the 76th district of the California State Assembly, and Michael Picker, President of the California Public Utilities Commission.

There was also a technology showcase, in which industry engineers and consultants were able to network and showcase their services. Pacific Power Engineers, Inc. (PPE) was proud to return for their second CAISO stakeholder symposium to showcase their Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG) and Metering installation and integration services. Part of these services includes the installation and integration of Weather stations to monitor and report renewable site conditions to the ISO. For this, PPE exclusively installs Lufft weather stations.
