The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) is a membership group supporting Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in terms of development and installation within the United States based in Washington, D.C. The NGO was founded in 1991 in order to make traffic smarter and safer. It consists of state and city public agencies, private companies, research institutes, carmakers, telecommunication companies, infrastructure operators and further transport industry professionals.
Every year they organize a meeting where participants can get to know the latest market developments and exchange ideas.
In June 4 – 7 the ITSA Annual Meeting will take place in the Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan and is dedicated to the theme Transportation 2.0. Of course, the state-of-the-art traffic weather sensors from Lufft must not be missing here! That’s why we will be present at Booth 638.
Make sure to stop by to see our booth highlights:
- StaRWIS – Lufft’s new, compact, non-invasive road surface sensor
- MARWIS – the mobile road weather sensor, which reaches a frequency of up to 100 measurements per second and thus provides seamless road data while driving
- The latest WS family addition WS100 – a maintenance-free precipitation sensor which is especially suitable for road weather applications
