Have you noticed the new logo on our website? With the new design, our logo becomes part of a larger whole: Lufft is part of the Meteorology Division of OTT HydroMet. All the associated logos are now matched to each other. But what exactly is it composed of and what does the new design look like?
The globally operating OTT HydroMet Group consists of six brands (OTT, Hydrolab, ADCON, Sutron, Lufft and Kipp & Zonen) and can look back on more than 500 years of history. It has its headquarters in Kempten, Germany and is the leading supplier of hydrological and meteorological measuring systems in Europe. The new group of companies now has subsidiaries and representatives in more than 90 countries. With the latest additions of Sutron Corporation (2015) as well as G. Lufft GmbH in 2016 and Kipp & Zonen (2018), the merger now offers the broadest portfolio of modern measurement and communication technology in the fields of water quality, water quantity, meteorology, data management, agricultural meteorology and telemetry, thus making a sustainable contribution to the protection of the environment and life.
The Meteorological Technology World Expo
This year’s Meteorological Technology World Expo in Amsterdam, the most important meteorological technology fair for us, was the occasion for a world premiere: Our new group branding. At the OTT HydroMet booth we presented the different solutions from the group’s business units as well as our new clean look and our slogan “Insights for Experts”.
Advantages for our customers
OTT HydroMet Group serves a global market and has support centers around the world, including the United States, Europe, China and Brazil. The group is characterized by good customer service and fast technical support.
In addition, thanks to the combined competencies, we are now able to offer ready-made plug-and-play complete solutions from a single source, thus minimizing installation and maintenance costs. For example, the takeover of the latest member – Kipp & Zonen – whose radiation sensors have been integrated into Lufft weather stations for some time, will enable existing synergies in the field of meteorology to be exploited even more effectively.
