Monitoring of clima-sensitiv finds in an archaeological exhibition

The Alexander the Great - National Archaeological Exhibition opened on March 22 in Rosenheim, Bavaria in Germany at the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center and will run until Nov. 3.

The exhibition concept focuses on the biography of Alexander from his crib to his grave, where the historical data and sources are arranged along this guideline. Fascinating archaeological findings take the visitors on a journey through Alexander's conquest from Greece to Asia Minor, Egypt, Persia, and Babylonia to India,"the end of the World".

A majority of archeological sites are climate sensitive; therefore, the surrounding environment must be continuously and reliably monitored. The exhibition organizers have put their trust in Lufft sensors! Nine of our OPUS20E dataloggers and 36 external temperature and humidity sensors have been installed at the exhibition. All sensors and dataloggers are connected via LAN in the network.

The OPUS20E offers the highest flexibility and is excellent value for money. It allowes the connection of up to 4 external temperature and relative humidity sensors, as well as 2 further analogue sensors. Intelligent BUS sensors can be integrated via the OPUS20E's RS485 interface (e.g. particle counter).
