Intelligent Active Surface Sensor ARS31Pro-UMB at Schiphol Airport

Success story of our Dutch Partner: The active road and runway weather sensor ARS31Pro-UMB will be installed at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

The first phase is now going on and means placing ARS31-sensors in the runway “Kaagbaan”. Later this year sensors will be placed at the terminals.

The active ARS31Pro-UMB sensor is flush-mounted in the road/runway surface and measures the freezing temperature by means of active cooling and heating of the sensor surface.
