Lufft WS100 precipitation sensor helps with construction work in Dublin

The construction work on the Luas line, a public transport system on rails, are subject to strict requirements imposed by the transport authority. The new monitoring station delivers reliable data accurate to the millimetre. The precipitation sensor gives the necessary info whether it’s raining or snowing to avoid false alarms triggered by precipitation. It was provided by the local Lufft partner BARBER InSys.

The large project includes the demolition of two vacant commercial units and the construction of premises for 247 beds. This will certainly lead to a social and economic regeneration of the area.
