The mobile weather sensor MARWIS is succesfully in operation on several airports in Italy, like Airport Bergamo BGY, Airport Venedig, Airport Triest and others.

The MARWIS from Lufft is a very useful tool to get all necessary runway weather data in real time (for example the thickness of the contaminant, the contaminant type and the surface temperature).

Our first experience in this winter season has allowed us to significantly reduce the time of data collection on runways. Furthermore the data are precise and are delivered reliably. This enabled us to organize our work much more efficiently. The installation and the calibration of the mobile sensor are very easy and quick to make. I think it is a great tool and I highly recommend it.
